I was thinking about replacing my Garmin 760 with the new Garmin 885 (the 885 has voice-command). However, by buying another 700 series mount I can transfer it between my two vehicles. The Charger R/T has built-in navigtion, but I don't use it. Using the Garmin I am able to transfer the GPS between vehicles. The Garmin is more user friendly and quicker to use than the in-dash GPS. The cradle securely holds my IPhone with it's case attached and the base of the holder expands securely into my cup holder. It took longer to open the box than it did to install holder into my Toyota. The charging port is still accessible and the support arm remains rigid once locked into position. There is a slight wobble to the support arm while going down the highway but that's to be expected. This works and looks so much better than using a suction cup ...more

Initially I debated on whether I should have gotten the one that mounts to the vent (same company) but am glad that I got this model instead as my passenger can easily access the iPod too (I drive a Toyota Highlander with lots of cup holders near the passenger side).
